Senior Artists Initiative (SAI) began in 1998 with a mission to provide fine artists with information essential to planning, implementing, and conducting their operations. 

In its earlier days it conducted workshops, published printed information, provided speakers to schools and nonprofit arts organizations.  Today it relies upon the Internet as the sole means to disseminate its message, educational offerings, and to display the over 100 video-recorded oral histories of prominent fine artists in the Philadelphia region.

SAI is an all volunteer operation. Its operating expenses are met by donations of time and funds. It is an IRS designated 501(c)3 educational nonprofit. All financial contributions are tax deductible.
