Important Notice Regarding SAI Videos

SAI's Oral History Project videos will permanently go offline on March 25, 2026.

This action is a financial necessity.  In 2012 SAI lost its ability to secure grants from from the foundations that previously had provided grants that funded our projects and programs. That loss was generated by the Pew Foundation reclassifying SAI as an Artist Service Organization.  Prior to the reclassification SAI was classified as an Arts Organization. Since the vast majority of funders follow the PEW guidelines we lost all our funding in 2012. Since then SAI has operated on existing assets which are dwindling. 

The cost of the video hosting has tripled since we first engaged the service, and that has made the hosting  unaffordable.  Fortunately, SAI has copies of all the videos it has produced. After March 25, 2026 SAI will email a copy of any video we have on request by email. Simply follow the link below to select the name of the artist and email the name to: seniorartists@icloud.com.
